What The AI Interior Design Agent Can Do
The RoomMaker Agent is an AI interior design agent that works on the same room photos and floor plan briefs as the individual tools. Describe the change in plain language and it picks the right job, keeps the rest of the room fixed, and shows the render in the conversation. Each card below links to the dedicated tool for the same job.
Redesign a room from a photo
Restyle a living room, bedroom or kitchen while the walls, windows, ceiling and floor stay where they are.
Open the tool pagePreview paint, floors and materials
Change one surface at a time: a wall color, a floor finish or a countertop, with everything else untouched.
Open the tool pageStage, declutter or swap furniture
Furnish an empty room, remove clutter for a listing, or replace a single piece without moving the rest.
Open the tool pageDraft floor plan concepts from text
Describe the property, rooms and requirements and get a concept plan to react to, no drawing required.
Open the tool pageUpdate exteriors and gardens
Try facade materials, entry updates or a new front garden on a photo of the house as it is today.
Open the tool pagePrepare listing photos
Turn day into dusk, clean up an empty room or brighten an exterior shot for a property listing.

How A Conversation With The AI Interior Design Agent Works
Each step is a message. You can stop at any point, change your mind and ask the AI interior design agent for something different. Earlier renders stay in the conversation and in your library, so you can always return to one.
- 01
Upload a room photo
Attach a photo from your device, paste one, or pick an earlier render from your library. Floor plan concepts can start from text alone.
- 02
Describe the change
Say what should change and what must stay. The assistant asks about the room type or the area to edit when the request is unclear.
- 03
Generate the render
Pick a quality tier, and the agent renders the image with the same engine as the tool pages. Credits are only spent when a render runs.
- 04
Refine with follow-ups
Ask for a warmer palette, a different sofa or a second option. Mark up an area on the image to point at exactly what should move.
- 05
Download and reuse
Open any render in the preview pane to download it. Every result also lands in My Designs and in the agent library for the next conversation.
When To Use The Agent Instead Of A Single Tool
The agent and the tool pages produce the same kind of render at the same credit cost, so the choice is about how you prefer to work. An AI interior design agent suits a project that spans several decisions; a single tool suits one decision you already understand.
Choose the agent when
- The job crosses categories, for example restyling a living room, then testing a wall color, then staging the same space for a listing.
- You are not sure which tool fits and would rather describe the outcome and let the assistant pick the job.
- You expect several rounds of follow-ups and want every version kept in one conversation.
- You want to mark up an area of the image and say what should change there.
Choose a single tool when
- You already know the job, such as a wall paint preview or a floor plan from a written brief, and want that tool and its own options.
- You want to see a watermarked Basic preview before buying; the Agent itself needs a paid plan or a credit pack.
- You are repeating one kind of edit across many photos and do not need a conversation around each one.
Either way, a render from the AI interior design agent costs the same credits as one from a tool page, and the result is saved to My Designs in your account.
AI Interior Design Agent FAQ
How many credits does a render cost?
Room renders cost 6 credits at Basic, 18 at Pro 2K and 30 at Ultra 4K, the same as the tool pages. Chatting with the assistant costs no credits; they are only deducted when a render actually runs, and a failed render is refunded. The Agent is available on paid plans and credit packs; Pro 2K and Ultra 4K renders need a paid account.
Do I need to upload a photo?
For room, exterior and listing renders, yes: the AI interior design agent edits a real photo rather than inventing a room. Floor plan concepts are the exception and work from a written brief.
Can the assistant see my photo?
No. The chat model only receives the image as a reference for the render tool, so it will ask you about the room type, the style you want and the area to change instead of guessing from the picture.
Where do the results go?
Every render appears in the conversation, in the agent library, and under My Designs in your account, where downloads follow the same rules as the tool pages.
Are my photos and conversations private?
Uploads and renders are stored against your account and served only to you. Conversations are private to your account and can be renamed or deleted from the chat list at any time.
Can the AI interior design agent replace a designer?
No. The renders are concept visualizations for comparing directions and explaining what you want, not measured drawings or construction documents. Use them to brief a designer or contractor, and have a qualified professional review anything structural before work begins.
